Accessibility, Values, and Commitments of the CIS de Champagne

At CIS de Champagne, we believe that a hospitality venue should be accessible, responsible, and open to everyone.

As a social and solidarity economy association, a member of the Ethic Étapes network, and a member of UNAT, we place people, diversity, accessibility, and respect for the environment at the heart of our mission.

Our commitment is reflected in concrete, day-to-day actions to welcome diverse groups and offer meaningful stays.

Accessibility for All

We want to make our services accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their circumstances.

Our facility features, among other things:

  • 3 rooms adapted for people with limited mobility
  • an outdoor access ramp
  • an elevator
  • signage with room numbers in Braille
  • a website optimized for accessibility using Lisio
  • spaces designed to facilitate the accommodation of people with disabilities.

Accessibility isn’t just about facilities—it also involves the quality of our hospitality, listening to guests, and adapting to each person’s needs.

🌱 Our Sustainability Commitments

Our environmental commitment is part of a gradual and concrete approach.

On a daily basis, we are implementing the following:

  • Eco-friendly practices: Raising awareness about water and energy conservation and sharing best practices with our visitors.
  • Waste sorting and reduction: We have implemented various measures to improve waste sorting and limit our waste production.
  • More responsible purchasing: We are gradually changing our purchasing practices, particularly for cleaning supplies and products used in food service.
  • Local and seasonal products: We prioritize local producers and suppliers as much as possible and promote regional products.
  • Sustainable transportation: The proximity to downtown, public transportation, bike paths, and facilities for bike tourists also offers a different way to explore Reims.

Promoting diversity and social interaction

The CIS welcomes a wide variety of guests: school groups, organizations, athletes, families, individuals, seminar participants, hikers, and cyclists…
